Following the workshop DA2PL'2012, organized in University of Mons, the second edition of the DA2PL workshop aims at bringing together researchers involved in Preference Modeling and Preference Learning and identify research challenges at the crossroad of both research fields. [en savoir plus]

The International DSM Conference is the annual forum for practitioners, researchers and developers to exchange experiences, discuss new concepts and showcase results and tools. Hosted by Ecole Centrale Paris and organized in collaboration with Technische Universität München, the 16th edition of DSM Conference takes place in Chatenay- Malabry, France, during 2 to 4 July 2014.

Dependency and Structure Modelling (DSM) techniques support the management of complexity by focusing attention on the elements of a complex system and how they are related to each other. DSM‐based techniques have proven to be very valuable in understanding, designing and optimising complex systems, including: product architectures, organizations and processes. The International DSM Conference provides a platform for practitioners, researchers, and developers of DSM‐related tools to exchange experiences, discuss trends and showcase results and tools. It also acts as a forum to develop new ideas regarding complexity management in all kinds of industries and from many different perspectives.

May 30th, 31th & June 1st 2012

This meeting is the fourth in a series aiming to promote research and encourage interaction in the working group of stochastic modeling. Stochastic modeling is an active research field with much interaction between theory and practice. The Working Group is concerned with all aspects, both theoretical and practical, of mathematical modeling using stochastic models. The areas of interest include, but are not restricted to performance analysis of telecommunication systems, the modeling of logistics and service systems, the theory of queueing and inventory models, revenue management, stochastic models in finance and more. The meeting brings together 71 participants from 18 countries.

Multicriteria decision aid (MCDA) is an important branch of Operational Research. Beyond the existence of conferences and scientific journals, the Euro MCDA working group aims at:

  • contributing to the development, at a European level, of the field of MCDA;
  • allowing members of the group to submit works to the critical discussion and facilitate collaborations;
  • facilitating contacts with every people interested in the subject and stimulating exchanges;
  • organizing bi-annual meetings which must not be mini-conferences but meetings favourable to exchange and emergence of news ideas.

The 72nd meeting of the Euro MCDA working group will take place at Ecole Centrale Paris, october 7-8, 2010 [en savoir plus]
